    Hey Guys and Gals,

I'm trying to get the email set up on my Aqua controller and have a couple questions.

    - Does the AC email you at set intervals to tell you tank params? I hit the test email button and it sent me a status once but it would not do it every time I hit the test email button and have not gotten another one since.

    - The ReEmail Delay is that how frequently it will send you aleart messages if something wrong with the tank? Or is this how often it will email you tank params?

-Does Anyone have any code that will trigger emails if conditions are met. For example- Temp to high/low, power outage, PH range to high/low, ORP to high/low etc..

Any help would be great! Thanks! ;D

I'm not positive, I'm still setting mine up, but as far as I know it doesn't email updates like that. I might be totally wrong but as far as I know you can setup alarms if a parameter gets out of whack. Set an alarm if your temperature gets too high or too low, or if your PH gets too high or too low etc and it will email you at that point.

If you want regular updates you can just pull up its' webpage which tells you everything about it and allows you to even make changes to the controller over the internet. It's talked about a little bit in the manual but that level of setup is pretty specific to how your internet connection is setup so I don't know how much I can help with that.

I've had mine about 6 months and I'm still getting mine set up too!

It did email me a status though.. Here is what the body of the email looks like. The manual for these things are terrible. They could improve that.

OK I think I have a better idea of what you're looking for actually now. The ReEmail delay is how often it will email you again after an alarm goes off I believe. The idea I think is that it doesn't contact you unless something is out of whack so you don't have to read 24 emails a day (one every hour) or whatever, it just tells you something is wrong.

Make sure a "ALM" timer is setup on A09, if you can login to your controller's webpage you can do it real easy just by adding this line:
    ALM&-A09

Then in your program statements put stuff like this:

These first two lines are general statuses, getting the alarm set by default to off and if the power goes out the alarm turns on.

If Power 000 Then ALM ON
If Time > 00:00 Then ALM OFF

These are alarm statuses to turn the alarm off in other cases.

If pH > 08.50 Then ALM ON
If pH < 07.80 Then ALM ON
If ORP > 450 Then ALM ON
If ORP < 300 Then ALM ON
If Temp < 75.5 Then ALM ON
If Temp > 81.5 Then ALM ON

I would test it by setting up something like setting up an alarm just .1 or .2 hotter than the tank is while your heaters are on so it will heat up and trigger the alarm and make sure the email gets sent.

Hopefully that's a bit more helpful, no guarantees though. :)

If it is e-mailing you the test then it is set up right. It will only send a message every time the alarm is activate and then keep sending the same message every time your alloted time is set for. Like if it is set for 30 min then every 30 min it will resend the message if the alarm is still true.

So all of these will send a e-mail:
If pH > 08.50 Then ALM ON
If pH < 07.80 Then ALM ON
If ORP > 450 Then ALM ON
If ORP < 300 Then ALM ON
If Temp < 75.5 Then ALM ON
If Temp > 81.5 Then ALM ON
