Some information I didn't know:) I was talking(email) with Dave with Aqua Euro USA skimmers about a recirculating skimmer. So I went online to research them and found a couple of you tube with their 200 and 400 cone skimmers? I didn't even know they made cone skimmers as I have never used one and didn't ask. Check them out if your looking for a skimmer they really kick butt and are very well made.

FYI....I only talked with Dave via email so I not sure if that's him in the video?

I already have a Euro Reef XRC250 with 1262 pump but what to run two smaller rated skimmers on this build. Well I changed my mind and not going with two recirculating skimmers so I am getting the 400 cone to go with the Euro Reef. Since its an in sump I will run it in my 100 gallon remote sand bed. Should add some good oxygen to the RSB I will install at the end of RSB that exits to 150 gallon sump.

I've really been liking our cone skimmer, and was excited when I saw the AE's.

Very nice. :) I think that was a better move than managing two skimmers. Enjoy!

Yeah I am excited to try one and I really like how it comes apart for cleaning. I also like how it uses a pin wheel and how the pump is installed. Again + room pump access easy repair if ever needed or "mod" using different pump.
I will be picking mine up middle of next month along with viewing their showroom, it's a 2.5 hour drive one way but looking forward to it:)

    * If anyone else picks one up in the next couple months let us know here/pic please!

    Hey tunamike,

I believe all units sold in the united states are 110v make sure you are looking at Aqua Euro USA. They are in the same building as Hamilton Lighting.
