It has been doing this for a while, and its starting to annoy me. No, the outlet isnt in the water, and yes, the bucket it takes the ro/di water from is below the pump itself. Any ideas, any better pumps out there that are reliable and wont do this. Thanks

I don't really understand what your saying. This for an ATO? If the pump and bucket are below the outlet, then it is physically impossible to siphon from the bucket to sump. If the outlet is not in the water in the sump, then it can not siphon from the water in the sump down to the bucket. Do you have a picture of the setup or something?

Anyways though, a perastalic pump will not siphon. Neither will a litermeter, which is probably the most reliable hobby grade pump available. If set up correctly though a aqualift can not possibly siphon, so, I seem to be misunderstanding something.
