Aqua Medic MidiFlotor problem

This is my first post here, i'm hoping someone will be able to help.

I have a 100G marine tank, lightly stocked, 4 fish and about 4 corals and a small amount of live rock.

I have 2 external filters 1xEheim 2227 Wet dry filter and 1xFluval 404.

I also have a regular UV unit attached in line with the Eheim.

Ok there's the kit - here's the problem.

I've had the skimmer for about 3 months - and i'm not producing any froth at all. I've changed the airstone 4 times in hope that it will produce more froth. I've connected both outlets of my NewAir 33 and opened them fully.

I've dropped the skimmer as low as it will go into the tank so far that the water level is about a third of the way up the inner of the cup. All i see is a small amount of of froth - but no build up to waste at all.

Any ideas - please help..many thanks in advance for anyone that takes the time to read this.

 

Probably do to your light bioload.
I don't have any fish just coral and my skimmer hasn't produced much since the last time I stirred stuff up moving rocks around.

How often do you feed?

I feed a couple of times a week. I drop a cube of frozen food in and let them go nuts. I try toi make sure the corals get some by using a set of of grips and passing close to the corals.

I contacted the manufacturer yesterday, they have recommended that i purchase the pump that is recommended for the skimmer. So i placed an order yesterday for a Mistral 300. Fingers crossed.

My options are severely limted as my tank has no option for a sump. There's also no space around the outside of the tank for a hang on like the Red Sea Prizm.
