here is my 29g aqua scape (more rock is on way so it may still yet grow) i think it is enough roughly 35-40 lbs of rock there and will add probably 10 in my 10g sump i plan on setting up.
and yes the tank is still so new i have not taken the sticker off lol

It looks very nice; however. You may want to consider how you are going to clean the glass with the rocks in the way.IME it is always best to have rocks only touching or very close to the back glass and not the sides or front.

brother, not to sound bossy, but listen to vin, you'll thank yourself when corrailline starts building up and you have to move your rockwork to clean to see the back of the tank and so people don't keep asking " why's it so dirty on the sides of your tank" trust me;)

Scape is sweet though, I'd just cram it in a few inches so you can clean the sides easier.;)

I reserve the right to sound like an old man and say "told ya so" and vinny is MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH older than me, so he def does! lol

    sorry vin

Looks good. I have a 29 with about 35-40lbs of rock as well.
I have a 10 gal sump built just haven't completed the overflow to hook it up yet.
As Soooon as the sump is online, I'm putting a good 10-15 lbs of rock from the display in there.
The FIRST thing I thought when I saw it, I'm sorry to say is, you're gonna have trouble cleaning the glass. Don't forget you need 1.5-2" of space to get your mag floats in there. Maybe a little less if you get a good quality scraper on a stick...

Looking fwd to seeing the build come to life. following

Slighlty wider than the inside of your mar-float type glass scraper/cleaner.

If you don't have one yet, please get one. NOt needed usually in FW,
but SW tanks- seems to be a must have.

My scape evolves and changes from month to month.

    Nice start!
