AquaC EV-180 Protein Skimmer

So I have been up and running problem free for many months now.
This morning, my Skimmer freeked out and filled up the overflow container with mostly clear liquid. This has never gone beyond a couple of inches full.

I have plugged it back in and the foam has gone right up and the water is going back into the container.

I have not done anything different lately, besides a recent water chane.

Any ideas on what would cause this ?

Sounds like somethings blocking your exit. Have you checked your gate valve?

Could be Luna..
I use a prefilter fram a Mag 7 for the output of the skimmer.
I took it off and cleaned it, there was some gunk in there.

I backed off the gate valve a bit and all seemes to be normal again.

Yikes, good thing I checked it this morning,.,,
