aquac ev 400 / which pump?

    does anybody use aquac ev 400 protein skimmer? what size pump should i run with it?
    i currently have it tied in with the reeflow dart which flows 3600 gph (but it is a low pressure pump). manufacturer recommends mag 18, but i know those skimmers need to be really over driven to produce good foam action.
    i can't decide between the mag 24 or mag 36. 50 dollars different in price. if only i knew the mag 24 would be okay or not, would like to save the 50 bucks.
    would be great to hear opinions from others

    Given the choice, I would go the Mag 24. You don't want to overdrive too much, otherwise it will over flow the collection cup. You can dial the 24 back if needed with a simple ball valve. I have a dialed back Mag 9.5 running my ETSS.
