    I need some help.

For the EV180, does anyone know if the air valve handle should be horizontal or vertical to allow airflow in ?

I cannot find it in the manual.

    Thanks

the air valve should be vertical. If it is closed you will see immediately that there aren't many air bubbles.

How's it working out for you? I have an EV180 too. Sometimes mine won't produce skimmate, the girl at Aqua-C said "wow, you must have really clean water!" haha. :)

So it has been 72 hours. I followed the directions to the T.
It is now pouring water into the sump, so I dialed back the air valve as per the book.

I will keep tis going for the two weeks it says to do.

    So far so good.

    \Cheers.
