Don't know about the Nano skimmer...But other AquaC's have worked great for me (Remora, EV-180)

I would say YES!!! I have a AquaC Urchin (which is the in-sump version of the Remora) and I love it. Works Great. All I did about 6 months ago is plug it in, and it's been skimming about 1/4 cup of skimmate a day, consistantly. I clean it about every 3 months, and it fires right up and keeps skimming. I have had zero problems.. Worth every penny..

I've had my AquaC Nano Remora now for about a week and I have to say it is quite a skimmer, the gunk that it brings up is amazing. It blows bubbles for about 5 minutes after anything goes in the tank such as hands. As far as noise, wow its loud and didn't change at all over anytime, so I cut a piece of plastic and covered the edge with tubing and covered the spray chamber and now its quiet. Check out pic taken from top. Great skimmer!
