AquaC Remora and micro bubbles

i have 2 aquaC Remoras with maxi jet 1200's on my 75g and use the prefilter on one of them. the skimmers are great, but i'm tired of seeing the air bubbles in my tank. anyone have any experience on how to reduce the air bubbles?

 

How long have the skimmers been running?

I have had my AquaC Remora (w/ maxi 1200) for about 6 months on my 55g. I do not use the pre-skimmer overflow box. The only time I saw microbubbles was when it was breaking in for about 1 week. I will also see them if the water level drops below the outflow lip. Since I top off the tank everyday, the outflow lip is normally always submerged for the most part & no bubbles for me.

Same issue

I've had mine in the 50 gallon display tank for two months (same setup as yours with Maxi Jet 1200), but it's still doing the same thing. There are considerably fewer microbubbles than the first week I put it in. I've had the water level is as high as the rim of the tank, but it didn't stop the bubbles. I figure since they don't seem to bother the occupants I haven't messed with it.

 

I have had mine running since Jan of this year and still putting out microbubbles in the tank. I decided to bite the bullet and build a sump. I too have the pre-filter box.

Not as much bubbles as during break-in period...but still enough to annoy me ;D

 

my remora has been running for 5 months and still bubbles. it is in my sump so i dont care but it doesnt stop spitting them out.
