AquaC Urchin In-Sump Skimmer

This post is directed to those who have this skimmer in their sump. I want input on noise, if any, performance etc. I am looking at the one that is rated 40-120 gal. Thanks in advance.

 

I had this skimmer with the drain fitting and ran by mj1200..skimmer it self worked great very quiet.but the mj made some noise from time to time..I'm not sure but I think a mag 3 would maybe work..the customer service is excellent..weather you call or e-mail...now this was on a med stocked 55 gal reef..I upgrated to an octopus 110 on my 72 bow....good thing is the urchin has a small foot print..

O.k. Went ahead and bought the same set up you had. I appreciate your response. Seems out of all the thousands on this forum you are the only one that ever used one!
