Aquacon!!!

So I placed an order on tuesday with my brother so we could get the free shipping for Florida, despite all the bad reviews because they had a 4th of july sale and had black clowns for half price so I ordered two for $47 and a flame scallop to get my side of the order up to $50 and my brother ordered some stuff too. Well I would just like to say that I have had a great experience with them so far, the guy called my the day it shipped out to let me know and the pacage was well packaged. Nothing seems to be dead or even look dead, I am acclimating right now and my two clowns look great. I just thought I would give my review of them and let people know how my experience went. I will post a thread in a couple days to let you know how all the livestock is doing.

 

That's good to hear, I've been wanting to get somethings from their site, but they always have unusual fish and the website layout makes it look to me like an elaborate scam. I may try them.

 

I'm glad that I could help someone with my review. I just hear so many bad ones I wanted to make sure that I told people about it.

 

Oh and I just found about 5 feet of airline tubing in the box haha.

 

Scallops can be very hard to keep in a tank, hope it fairs well.

As far as the purchase I would say you got VERY LUCKY.

5 ft of airline? lol. That sounds like carelessness during packaging that let crap fall in the box. If that was your free gift with purchase..... WOW! lol.

Aquacon across the board has a very bad rep. That includes on multiple forums, personal reviews AND with the Better Business Bearu. F rating with 62 complaints in 3 years & 15 in the last 12 months, including 30 complaints they didnt even respond to.

They arent even acreddited with the BBB.

That is just too much bad rep for me to shop online with. Maybe if it was a local business that is one thing cause you may know the background, but for online where I can reach out and touch the guy if something goes south, thats just too much history for me to shop from.

 

That 5 feet of airline is for drip acclimation.

Ya I know about all the bad rep but I couldn't pass up the offer on the clowns it was an amazing deal. And maybe they are trying to turn over a new leaf or something I'm not sure but I have just had a great experience with them. And about the scallop I figured it would t last over a year because almost no one can but I needed like an extra dollar and it was $2 so I just got it. And I know that the air line was for that I was just surprised that they included that with it, kinda nice.

 

Here is a picture of them sorry it a bad one but they won't stop moving =P and the scallop who enjoys making my water cloudy with sand.
