    Try the tool with your computer just hooked up to the modem, your router can also be blocking that port. It took me about a month of beating my head against the keyboard and talking to suddenlink's tech support. Then I found out all my trouble was my Linksys router, I then changed to a Belkin router hasn't miss a lick since.

    Yeah I think linksys is my big issue.. GRRRRRR....

    a hitchhiking gorilla crab has taken presidence over this issue as of now though lol

    I had a WRT54g and have used the Apex and AC3 fine with. Id double check your settings. Also most all ISP's block port 80. Another thing you could try is researching DD-WRT firmware for the router. Great firmware if you wanna geek out :)
