I have this light fixture over my 55g with all sorts of sps, softies, lps, and a clam. And im planing on getting a 90g and im going to transfer everything over, so my question is,would this fixture be enough to keep all my corals and clam in the tank? if it wont be enough then i'll just get a 75g instead.

Lighting over a 55g won't fit over a 90g, you could put the lighting you have on just one side of the 90g with your corals on that side. It depends whether the 90g is taller than the 55g, which I am guessing it is, then it is more than likely that it won't be enough light for your corals and clam.

I had the same problem moving from a 45g to a 90g, in the end I bought new lighting for the 90g and sold some of the lighting from the 45g and connected them together, my 45g is now just a DSB with macro algae and the 90g is my DT.

What are the dimensions of your current tank?

I honestly would say it would suffice but after just testing the PAR values of a 36" TX5 vs a 4 and 6 lamp Tek... results of which I will post on another thread... I would recommend if you want to use an Aquactinics fixture over a 90, I would do a Constellation or better yet a Solar Flare.
Honestly I would try a retro since you need a new light, this way you will be able to save some $$.
One major problem with the TX5 is since the SLRs are concave most light is directed toward the center of the tank, not good for tanks over 12" and that 90 is 18"... I can tell you the PAR values in around the border will be low...

    Good luck!
