has anyone ever tried using this to dose? I was thinking that i could gate it back to drip once every second for 15min at a time. Idk how many times a day i will do this but i can figure out a schedule by testing. I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the subject.

I did it differently, with two aqualifters both on the same ATO switch. Each drew from a separate reservoir where reservoir one had a part 1 dilution and 2 had part two. They vary their flow rate unpredictably, so it was hard to keep dialed in.

Yup I used this method for a 7 months and after that the AL just gave up the good fight. Hugely varying flow was the only problem as the Alk solution just clogged them up constantly. Even a regular RO cleaning didn't work.

Good short term, not awesome long term.

I wouldn't trust an aqualifter with something like that.
