    Coralife has really been going nuts with lights lately. These new HQI halide lamps have some pretty neat features - less than 3 inches tall, built in moon lights, and optional hanging brackets.

    They are nice. I have to add them to the site still; i am jst to lazy i guess! Only thing i do not like is they are only 150 watts. There is susposed to be a 250 watt version coming out soon.

    True. I wonder why that is.
    How is the quality of the fixture Darin?
    Some of their other ones I've seen were pretty plasticy.

    I have not really looked at them that well. THe Aqualights are made from Aluminum so the durability is there. The Power compacts work well and barely ever have a problem so i would assume the MH lights will follow suit.

    Aluminum sounds good.
    I wonder who they get these HQI bulbs from?

    I am sure they are chinese made but you would be surprised at how much of the products that are chinese made now. Some of the stuff you think is made in America or Europe is not.
