Aqualight Suspension Hardware

Anyone have any experience with these? I'm can't figure out how they attach to the tank stand. My tank stand has an open back, so I may not be able to use one, which is why I'm asking. Thanks in advance!

You cannot attach it to a tank stand. You need to attach it to he ceiling or a shelf that is installed above the tank.

could folks actually just post some info and/or pics of how they suspended their lighting over the tank, please? i don't think i want to go up ten feet to the ceiling.

 

Wow. Thanks for this link. K+ ... I actually am looking for something like this. Do you happen to know how many inches out these curve from the wall?

EDIT - 48" tall and 12" from suspension mount to back of curve. This could work for my 24" cube tank. Thanks again!

I live in an apartment and was unable to suspend mine from the ceiling. So this is what i came up with. I stained a 1X4 the same as my stand, and used 2 outdoor wrought iron plant hangers.

 

Not to change the subject, but who manufactured your tank and where did you get it?

 

That is a nice rimless tank.

 

It's an Oceanic Illuminata 57 gal. I got it at my LFS back in Feb. It is my first upgrade tank from my beginner 29 gal. I'm very happy with how it all turned out.
