Fuge is Done! I'll have more pics up and do a before and after to show the tanks improvement after the add. Also added a chiller to stabolize my tempature. It was fluctuating so much throughout the day, and the fan trick wasn't cutting it. I lost a ton of xenia when my tank temp rose to 85 degrees. Now it will stay at a steady 78. Yahoo! More pics soon!

Welp finished up my fuge today. My buddy gave me more chaeto with pods, micro brittle stars, worms, etc. Went to the LFS and picked up 3.5 lbs of live rock. Now my fuge is rockin and I can't stop watching the lil starfish crawl around in the chaeto. Now more pics

Can I give you some advice?

Install another 90 elbow and install some pvc enough to reach the waters surface of your refugium. This will get rid of all the micro-bubbles coming down to it and help with the salt creep associated with those micro-bubbles. BTW, looks awesome.

Good idea Luna! Thanks! Those bubbles are mostly from holes drilled on the sides of the PVC. The outlet tube has hardly any bubbles comin out. My buddy built that part, I think he was aiming for agitation. I wish I woulda thought of that, but.. it's my first fuge! lol

Thanks guys! Well some Xenia made it.. you can kinda make it out.. there's some attached to the thermometer. Thinkin bout puttin that in the fuge. It'll grow back as fast as it went, lol. I'm excite to see how much this fuge will pay off. Alread seein some pod action down there, and even a pesky bristle worm.. hopin they reproduce in the main tank.. my sixline will love it!
