AquaPod filters

    Does anyone know if there are any other filters available for the AquaPod 24 besides the big blue foam cubes? It seems like an assembly could be made that would have a screen and a place to hold charcoal. Those foam things are tough to fully clean...
    I currently have those and the original bio balls along with a small charcoal bag. I was thinking of adding the balls that hold charcoal in place of the bag.

    I'd ditch the bio balls, I've heard nothing but bad things about them holding nitrates. As far as the foam filter, though I don't have the type you mention, for filter replacements, I make my own. I use quilt batting and fold up a little pocket and fill the pocket with carbon. Works great for me!:)
