    Looks like a denitrator to me. If that is what it is it's a simple concept and there are several diy methods. They work to an extent, but are kind of a yesteryear technology. Algae turf scrubbers and biopellets kind of took over.

    I understand what you are saying. But many already are dosing the elements needed for their corals. I am just trying to figure out if this system would work and eliminate a majority of water changes.

    Ive been having a look at the user testimonials tanks and they dont do too much to instill much confidence, either fake rock or softy tanks which high nitrates wont really trouble anyway.

    only the tritton method eliminates water changes completely as far as I know, not sure if that is available in the States or other version..? It isnt cheap to run the program though
