    does anyone have any comments on this product. I've been reading reviews and it seems good.

    I just wanted to know if it was true that this denitrater could work in place of a protien skimmer?

    Most people i think would argue that a protein skimmer is one of your most important to components to a marine aquarium. I personally havent heard of aquaripure. But i wouldnt go with out a protein skimmer. Are you starting a reef tank, or fowlr?

    well im going to do a FOWLF and ive done alot of research and of course it is mixed. some say i should have a protien skimmer and filter on my 10 gal some say i dont need them as long as im staying on top of my weekly water changes and daily refils. I guess time will only tell which way to go.
