    it is natural but the depth there kept in in our tanks is not close to where thay are in a natural setting

    Very true...most "greenhouse" setups I've seen use some type of shade cloth to limit the direct sunlight.

    true, do you think algae growth would be terrible? what kinda algae are we talking? hair? slime?

    If nutrients are kept in check I don't think you'll have an algae problem...none of the systems I've seen the use natural sunlight had major algae issues, but they are all run with proper husbandry...get lazy and I would guess the excess nutrients coupled with sunlight could get things out of hand quickly.

    haha yeah thats waht im worried of. so would you just suggest like a sheet or something to go over the window. also whould i have like a back up light just in case.... idk there is no sun haha or its like cloudy for a few days
