well he isn't a close friend of mine but it's someone that used to own a fish store that i use to go to and he now sells fish equipment from home, but i can get a new one for $130 or get a old one for $90, i would rather go for the new one, but i just don't know much about this unit, or don't know much about an RO/DI unit at all as this is my first one. Is it hard for a beginner to get a hang of a RO/DI unit?

Try www.airwaterice.com, they are one of our sponsers. There are a few 3reef members that have bought from them and are very happy. Look around and dont buy the first unit that comes along. Luna
