Does anybody know if the hose I can find at a hardware store is safe enough for an aquarium?

Garden hose or tubing off of a roll of clear vinyle tubing ? either or are fine as long as there are no metals on them.. like brass connectors ):

I have purchased my hose from both the hardware store and LFS. No problems here.

I got mine from Lowes or Home Depot. Its the same stuff at stores. But they have diff lines there. Some lines are for reg water and some for cold water and diff things. Some of them will put a taste in your water. Be sure of what you want before you go.
