    mmm. i see. the other concern also is that damsels seem to be hardier than the clowns. Given that the 25 gal is "kinda" new still. I was just afraid that the clowns wont make it ...

    thats a very valid point

    hence I asked what type of clowns they are and if they are domestic bred fish
    as domestic bred clowns these days are considered almost as tolerant as Damsels
    and if you mix the water between the 2 tanks a bit , you will lessen any risk of shocks

    For the clowns whether tank bred or not... i am not sure..
