Keep in mind that (almost) nothing in nature looks symmetrical, or even, and neither should your tank. The best tip I've ever seen for aquascaping is to not strive for this type of look. You will never achieve it.

Be random. Try starting with two different size piles of rocks in different corners, and then start randomly stacking. Take a step back, go do something else for an hour or so, and then come back and look at it.

Save your OCDishness for keeping your tank clean when it's up and running... LOL!

So I took all the rock out and re-did everything, and I LOVE it =] I went with a U shaped mountain, its an awesome look in a bowfront tank and my fish like it and my corals are all opening up on their new spots. I will post pictures as soon as the dust settles

You have too many 'round' rocks... Think of it like tetris, and Get more T and L shapes lol ;) Then put them in odd fashions to leave nooks everywhere. My favorite 'live rock' is dead hard coral... makes great shapes.

Yep, I avoid rounded rocks like the plague. My rock is all dead hard coral as well. Still can't always put that one piece where you want it, but you make do LOL.

I didn't think it looked too bad, can't wait to see the new version.

Looks really nice! Will give you lots of space for corals on the sand.

My thought too :) It has a couple spots that need a different shaped rock but now that I know what im looking for it will be easier.
