Mike i have indirect moderate flow on it right now but it won't matter any more I just got home and found a hermit crab perched on top munching away on the only head that was left. Now I know what happened to the other head I thought it bleached out but now I know what really happened to it. The frogspawn is toast. There is very little left on the head. This sucks.

If the hermit was eating it, it was already dead most likely. I've never seen a hermit of mine go for any of my coral.

I don't think it was completely dead yet as it closed up at night and opened in the morning. It may have had some dead on it but it cleaned up the head pretty good. I don't know if it will make it. I'll take apic later and post after I finish doing my maintenance on the tank. Happy Fsther's to you Mike..

    Happy Father's Day to All!!!!

I've been told as a precaution only to have one fire shrimp in a tank. They can get pretty aggressive toward each other if there's not enough room. But they are sooooo hard to resist buying.....lol Good luck with the new stock order. Sorry about the first one dying, but good thing they are right on top of the replacement.

Yeah I know they'll go at it. While I was acclimating they were chasing each other around. They store gave one large and one medium. In the tank each stays to ther own side of the DT but I'll keep an eye on them. Thanks for the heads up

    New Additions arriving 6/19

I am excited to be getting these in tomorrow. I ran across another reefer here on the site which is also getting a Orange Guttatus Birdsnest Coral as well.

Here are the new kids ;D

I like your designs although you should go with the 2 island effect. It will give your fish more area to swim while still leaving alot of room for corals

Kd thanks for the suggestion, but my stock is light and I plan on keeping it that way. I want to focus on corals.
