What design do you use for rockscaping

    what aquascape design do you use and why? Looks, flow, corals placement, etc.

    I will also be watching this closely. I have a 55 w/ 2 koralia 2s and another small powerhead but I have one dead spot on one side and stuff seems to accumulate on my live rock. I don't want to point the powerheads right at the rock because it blows my corals all over.

    I have that same problem dan. But my mushrooms wont open if i aim a power head in there direction

    Center back wall...but with open caves behind to allow or flow. Tank is not very deep or long so I tried to maximize the swimming room in the front.

    Yeah if i upgrade I'd go with 2 or three islands but my tank isnt big enough for that now. So i mainly dont have a set design but once i get my sump to hide my equipment ill try either the slope or the U. Ill post pics on here once i do that

    I have two islands, but it's in a 55, so I have one large one and a smaller one next to it. It looks pretty good IMO. Here's a pic.

    Wow very nice guitarman. You have that set up perfect. Is that middle piece one rock? It looks massive. I might have to give this 2 island thing a go :)

    U shaped for my my 55g, two koralia's #2's pointed upwards diagionally toward the front glass, here's a semi new pic the rock has stayed the same layout but a few things have changed in terms of equipment and coral placements:
