After much work above and in the tank, it's finally done. I'm just gonna sit here, and enjoy my creation!
Tank should still be cycling or almost done (15 days already); skimmer's slowing down on pulling all that gunk out, which should be an indication, correct? I ran out of my ammonia test! lol.

15 days is only 2 weeks---I dont know how big the tank is, but most take 6-8 weeks. I cant see pics at work, but I am sure it looks good!!!

Pic looks great. what kind of test kit do you have that your out of ammonia tests already and the tanks only 15 days into the initial cycle?

It's a tetra test kit, it's old and the number 2 bottle ran out. Oh I just got off the phone with my buddy that's helped me set this up, and he added concentrated bacteria to the tank. Anybody heard of this before? He says it's suppose to speed up the cycling process.

aquascape looks real nice. i like the branching rock work, gives the tank some charcter. id let the tank cycle a bit longer, dont rush it. you will be much happier in the long run

There are several similar products out there that claim to do this, they seem to work, but the down side is they need to be used regularly to maintain the bacteria since they are a different kind than the ones that form naturally.
