Well my tank is only 3 weeks old and i have prolly 20 lbs of LR an bas rock... i was wondering what type of glue/apoxy everyone uses on there rocks when aquascaping, and how do you go about this? If i take my LR out of the water most of the stuff will die right? so how can i re-aquascape my tank? thanks for any help

I just drilled holes with a masonary bit and inserted plastic rods from coat hangers no glueing

I also just stack them very carefully and build up. I have never had a problem.:-X Knock on wood.

I make a base out of pvc, then stack on top of that. I don't use any epoxy, but sometimes wish I did, when you stack rock you usually end up filling all the nice "fish holes" I also think the plastic/acrylic rod technique would be very good. I bought a rod of acrylic just for this last time I rescaped my tank, but didn't use it...

yea I have mine stacked naturally right now to, but was wondering if there was any way to re-do them without killing the LR?

Your live rock can handle being out of the water for some time, even if you have some coral growth on them. I'm not sure of what your whole set up is, but I would just get more LR and stack it up vs. try and skimp the rock I have.

Regardless of your stacking issues, rock can take it and coral are forgiving and can handle sometime to air exposure.
