    anyone know any good write ups on aquascaping, im particulary interetested in using aquascaping to create high and low flow areas. i can probally figue it out by playing with it but reading first is always nice

    Have you tried googling aquascaping techniques or aquascaping a reef aquarium?

    not sure on any particular write ups but i just youtube "reef aquarium" and watch vids to get ideas. any cave type structure will most likely be low flow. "U" shape rock formations would also be less flow.

    I'd just figure out how you want the rock formation, and let your multiple power heads placements dicate the flow areas..

    not using powerheads ( at least im hoping not too) since the tank has a closed loop, with 2 inputs and 4 outputs, powered by a dolphin amp master 3k im hoping thats enough flow. if it turns out not to be ill hook a hydor evolution up on a 1 minute on/off cycle
