O.k. here is the thing. Originally I was going to go with some dry rock from marco rocks but I ran into a great deal on craigslist for 150 lbs of rock 60 lbs fiji and 90 lbs base rock. I have to say it is great with some great pieces to do what I am planning to do. With that said:

    1. The rock is already cured so I want to dip in fresh RO/DI water to get it clean (i know, i know I'm probably going to get hammered on this) but it will make it easier to do the aquascaping.

    2. I would like to use the nylon thread and drill to piece them together but where o where can I get some. I will be purchasing sand from marco rocks and they have 3/8 available but I would like to use 1/4 (which they are out). Does anyone know where else to get some.

    thanks

    Telgar thanks for the info.

2in10 would that really make a difference if I am going to have it out of the water while I am doing the aquascape.

Unclejed- that would be a money thing and also because i want to do an aquascape and not pile it all up. It will live again!!!!!!!!!!!!!
