How about some of the skimmer in action? Or some close ups. 8)

Here's mine in operation at day two of the break-in period. It's already starting to get a nice foam and the micro bubbles escaping into the tank are already half of what they were when first operated.

Doesn't take up too much room in my 29 gal tank

Not too bad for the second day

Looks great! Man that really is small! 8)

    Is it hard to adjust?

That is the one gripe about this little guy. The adjustment knob is so darn close to the collection cup, that it makes it tough to turn the flow higher. It's easy to lower the flow though. I've probably fiddled with the knob about five times trying to fine tune it. I ended up leaving it set at where only the bubbles go up the column. It eventually filled all the way up with foam, so it's pretty easy to adjust.

Good to know. Is that the adjustment knob in the 2nd pic on the right side?

Yes it is and if you notice, the little notch that makes it easier to grip is pointed towards the cup. It may be just mine that's like that. I'd say it takes about 5lbs of pressure to turn and it's rather hard without anything to grab on to.

Hmm.. maybe gingerly using pliers would help.

I do have to say though, that I am extremely stoked about this skimmer. It's low cost, seems to be low maintenance and is so small. I feel it's almost a steal at $59. I purchased from Marinedepot and it already came assembled 8)

Pliers would probably to the trick just fine. I suppose I had to find at least one thing to say negative!
