    What kind of corals could you keep with this unit? Would I be limited with this rather than a Tek?

    Do you have a link to it? Many things can affect its light output, particularly the reflectors it has. But also the way it cools itself and ballasts.

    Also the kind of bulb that you put in it. Most T5s come with less than desireable bulbs. Look at reefgeek.com and their prices with bulbs included. Keep in mind the bulbs that are included are UVL, ATI and Giesemann. Great choices.
