aquaticlife t5 fixture users

So we know how bright the leds are in this fixture. Mine is the 4 bulb t5 with 4 moon lights. But do that actually add growth.

 

I have 2 of the lights and the moon light are just so you can see your tank at night. But aquaticlife told me when i asked over the phone that they will have a LED fixture out soon!!!

 

The lunar LED's are for aesthetics. Not for growth. There is the thought that by using these the corals will respond to it and possibly spawn. Responding to what would be like a lunar cycle.

 

Well my leds come on at 8pm till 2am and zoos stay open. Then total darkness till ambient light around 8am and zoos actually close. I had one cheap coralife moonlight led and was not bright. But these aquaticlife ones add shimer

 

oh yeah, they do give off a nice shimmer.

 

Yeah I think they are awfully bright for moonlight
