I'm planning on upgrading my lights and with the budget I have, I'm leaning towards the 48" Aquaticlife T5HO 4 bulb fixture. My question is will this light be sufficient if I plan on doing a reef setup in the future? As of right now, my tank is FOWLR and specs are 90 gallon bow front, 24" deep. Any response is greatly appreciated. Mahalo!

Since the tank is 24" deep I would say spring for at least a 6 bulb fixture.

I have a 27" tall tank and have the 4 bulb one. I get great growth on softies and LPS. And I have gotten good growth on my SPS, but they are placed very high in the tank. And I have geissmen bulbs. If you can afford the 6 bulb, do it. You will be happier in the end. But the 4 bulb will get it done as long as your placement is well thought out.

Thanks for the input guys! Looks like I'll have to just save up a few more $$ and get the 6 bulb. Now if only I can find a way to hide the bill form the other half. =)
