must have been recently, since there is not a stock photo of the 48" T5 yet. Think I did good with this for my 55gallon?

Got mine today and am pleased with light and packaging. The legs are a little cheap but what do you expect. For the price, IMO its unbeatable. I get to update my sig now from 96wt to 216wt!

I was going to get their T5 unit but from what I read......all the lights run together so I wouldn't be able to run actinics by themselves. Maybe you can confirm that since you got the kit?

Johnny, you can run moons, actinics, daylight or any combo you like, there is one power cord but 3 switches, so you can't run multiple timers is the problem. but I am gonna run daylight and actinic on a timer to shut off while I am home in the evening then I will just leave the actinic on for a bit after if I'm around the tank. Which I usually am! I will take some pics this weekend if you want to look it over.

No need for the pics. That's the problem.........I want to connect it to separate timers. If it wasn't for that, I would've had that same kit by now.

That's strange. My AT T6's came with 3 switches and 3 cords. I run them in cycles, independently.

The Mh's....can you run Tangster bulbs in them? Luna didn't you get some from him?

Actually, no. I bought the bulbs through Marine Depot and they kind of dont work with my unit, but thats b/c of the cheap ballasts. Im getting some new ballasts soon, so I'll let you know for sure. Luna

other than the ballasts being cheap, what do you notice about them, that warrants new ones?
