aquatraders

Well guys and gals this weekend me and my girl took a trip out to good ol aquatraders lol sarcasm but took a look around the place for a second time just so you guys know i bought a oddysea pc light off of them its still running fine minus the fans that i have to replace.But anyway i went in there after hearing all the metal halide horror stories.An i what i saw in the back room were they store there livestock and equipment I saw atleast 4 dead animals per tank made a mental not to never buy livestock from them even though they did have those rare specimens that i never seem to see in any other aquarium stores. But in th corner i saw a huge pile of electrical crap didnt know what it was walked closer and my my my it was a pile of old balasts i thought to myself ahhh did they finaly get smart and start refurbushing or are those new hmmmmmm didnt know.Tried to ask but the guy did not understand english. Looked next to the pile and saw a work center desk covered in wiring and light fixture parts and all kinds of stuff still couldnt figure out what they were doing other then repairing returned lights. So looked around and in there dislpay tank saw a beautiful anenome that would just about have been the only thing i wanted to buy from them wasnt for sale though shame i could have givin him a beter home. But other then that stuff the place seemed to not have been doing to well. So for all your folks who want them off the market that might be happening soon. Just wanted to let you folks know how it was.

 

Good tip, thanks for the heads-up. Now, the million dollar Q is, where they using Odyssea light fixtures on their tanks???? Luna

 

to answer that question they have no lighting system over there livestock tanks and they have a oddysea pc fixture over there display tank

 

I have had nothing but good from Aquatraders.
I have spent well over $400.00 in items from them and have never had ANY issues.
