I have a few questions for anyone here has been using Aquavitro Salinity for a few months or longer.

    1. How has this salt affected your tank?
    2. What do you like about the salt?
    3. What don't you like about the salt?
    4. Would you buy it again? If not, what are you going to buy and why that product?
    5. What are your phosphate, ammo, nitrite, nitrate, dKH, and pH readings were after you mixed the salt?

I use Red Sea Coral Pro and love it. My LFS told me to stay away from the Sea Chem salt when he had 5 buckets of it....

Couldn't disagree more. They have different levels of trace elements.

I don't recall the alk but I think it was low. I know I could not get over 350ppm calcium with this salt.

i am on my second bucket with aquavitro salinity. i tested early on and it consistently tested within their parameter claims for me. i just now tested a bucket i have mixed and my dkh was 11 and my calcium was 440. as long as i do regular water changes and dose the same amount of 2 part daily, my paramaters have stayed constant with this salt. i had some difficulty keeping my parameters constant with other salts so i will probably stick with this one.

I've had one brand that sucked. It wouldn't mix and had a gray colour when it finally did mix. I have 5 buckets of it but won't use it for anything. The buckets are fantastic for storing other brands, though. It has a sealing O ring and a clasp for opening.
