    :) Hello Everyone, I am a nu-b to the site and hope you can help!I just bought the Aqueon ProFlex and plan on setting up as a Refugium. The design of this filter has the protein skimmer after the refugium. Is this OK or will it harm any thing good going from the refugium to the tank,as the refugium water would be going through my skimmer first then to the tank?

    my only issue with the skimmer being after the refugium is the potential for microbubbles getting into the display tank, if you skim it first then flow thru the fuge the bubbles have plenty of time to disapate before getting to the return pump. Again this is all personal preference, there is no hard and fast rule.
