    I want to paint back of my tank BLACK. What is better to used? the SPRAY paint or the brushed on kind?

    I think the spray kind would be better than brushing it on. I brushed mine on and it has spots that just would not cover over.

    I used tremclad flat black with a foam roller and it came out real well and was easy to keep an even coat, plus i didn't have to worry about over spray. But if you tape it off good, spray should work well.

    The tank was paint blue, I planning on repaint it black.. I heard black are better for coral viewing.

    I planning on adding Live Sand to my tank. I going do Fish/Coral. What should I get? And how many pound should I get?

    I decided to put tank together see what it look like... I LOVE THE BLACK LOOK. Very clean and sharp look!!!

    Great work on system, looks great.

    I would avoid getting live sand as you are paying for water and much less sand. Plus your sand will become live fairly quickly from your live rock. See if you can get a cup of sand each from a few reefers in your area.

    You will need about a pound of sand per gallon per inch of depth you wish to have.
