    Currently my tank is houseing 2xt8 30" bulbs, these are no good for anemones i've been told so this baby will replace the current lighting like for like in my rena aqualife tank only its T5, what do you think any good???

    or 1 of these a bit more expensive, but has four tubes, and if i purchased this one how would i get round things like dust and other things getting in the tank?

    if it works ;) Depends on your tank size, but if they match, all you need to do is replace bulbs for a marine reef setup, and your good to go ;)

    how many gallons is tank? and how deep?

    50 gallon, 20" deep 19" on top of substrate.

    You will want more than 2 bulbs, 4 would be ideal.

    T5's have enough power to light deep tanks, but you need more bulbs due to spread and spectrum.

    Ok so 4 bulbs at least got that sorted, 2 white 2 blue.

    Does it matter about the wattage of the bulbs ?

    I bought my lights from that buyer - be careful tho. If you are in america, they may not work or could cause and electrical fire.
    Other then that tho - i reckon if you get those lights then you will be able to get anything!!

    why you say they may not work is it because they have a european plug on it if this is the case then great i'm from the uk.

    But on another note i have just learnt about pc lighting would these be sufficient in my tank they are much cheaper/fish& anemones
