Well added the starboard and some rock from my sump. Still need to organize the electronics and start working on a rock work. Thought I would miss the halides, but think I'm T5 man now!

Well as much as a few people think I'm crazy I decided to do away with my basement sump and run everything under the tank. So here are some updated pictures of the sump setup and temporary skimmer. Also added about 65 lbs of live rock from from Preuss last week (Thanks Kirby!!) Still need to straighten the wiring, ballasts and arrange the rock. So here are the updated pictures. Enjoy!

Holy COW!!! That is a TINY sump Chris, especially coming from what you had. What skimmer is that, cause it sure doesn't look like your MR-2! ;)

What are you going to do with all the basement stuff, are you going to tear that down, or leave it as a stand alone area?

Yeah sump hold about 40 gallons of water with a 6 inch deep sand bed. All the basement stuff is going for-sale once I sell off some of the extra live stock. The calcium reactor I will keep and might hang on to the a 50 breeder for a future grow out tank. The only that I will have left in the basement is the 2 drums for ro and salt water along with the R0/DI Filters.

Do you have more then 1 50 breeder down there? I have been thinking of using one of those for my new sump...
