Are clownfish and Cardinalfish compatible?

The skimmer and Purigen will help. I don't know anything about Seachem matrix though.

 

Oh it's just filter media that's supposed to help with producing nitrate consuming bacteria.

Just stumbled on this thread.The only way to reduce Nitrates in your tank is through WC,Chemical, or biological filtration( Macro algaes). They don't just majically disappear. While some denitrafication does occur in the SB.It is not nearly enough to remove the kind of levels most of our tanks are producing.

 

I have chaeto and did A LOT of water changes
