Are clownfish and Cardinalfish compatible?

    I think that all depends on how high your nitrates are and honestly how your environment will break down nitrates. I don't really know what to say. You could do water changes to lower nitrates as well.

    nice to see youve gotten everything running, im guessing by the time you get all this extablished youll be tempted to just ditch the idea of any seahorse or pipefish and go to a reef tank.

    I use a circulation pump that uses a propeller instead of an impeller because it pushes more water in a wider pattern. my pump is creating sand dunes in my tank lol.
    I recommend aquascaping your live rock so water can flow evenly around the rock while minimizing dead spots where detritus can build up.

    I have a scooter dragonet which is in the same family of the mandarin and I got it eating "Hikari Marine -S-" sinking pellets. It is a great advantage feeding it fish food because it rounds out his diet and brings out his colors plus its growing real fast. The trick is to feed it natural food it eats in the wild and then slowly introduce the food you want it to eat as long as it has its main food as one of the ingredients.

    Yep, a propeller like hydor koralias will do you good. I get dunes too:)

    Just looked it up! Beautiful fish. Does it need live bc it says that on live aquaria.
