I haven't heard of them. I always recommend the Hydor SlimSkim or the CPR BakPak for tanks that size.

I cant afford much right now. Funds don't allow for anything more than $40 at a time. These seem to have it all for a decent price. So these are my choices.

Yea and i bet ya they are both junk, and will either not work very goot if at all, or will break after a month. But hopefully you have better luck then everyone else. Try looking on craigslist for a used one.

Why not just take the 40 you want to spend now and save it for the next time you have another 40 laying around n buy something better? It's a very common thing to do in this hobby.

You get what you pay for when it comes to protein skimmers and lights in this hobby. I think you would be better off saving up for a better skimmer you can always look for a used one top save some money.

Who knows, they may be great skimmers. You should write a product review after you get one of them.

I am hoping one of them are. So far it looks as no one has one of these. I could buy a better one next month. Maybe if I was 15 yrs older, kids out of house, I could afford better sooner, but alas I am not.

I feel you pain there lol. I have 4 kids in the house. Talk about not having money for the tank. 2 of them are still in diapers lol. It's up to you, you can either try one of the skimmer and risk paying for something that may or may not be quality, or you can just wait another month and pay for something that has a reputation behind it. Decisions, decisions lol
