I'm planning to have both my practice guitar amp (5watts) and my bass guitar amp (25 watts) next to the dresser my 10 gallon freshwater is in. Will the sound affect them? I don't play all that loud, but I want to know if I'll have a dead fish every time I hit a low B

    Thanks!

i have my 150 watt line six right nest to two of my nanos and it doesnt seem to affect them at all, however my tokay gecko does not tend to like the noise. im practicing on that thing all the time on almost full power so i think youll be fine.

Hey, I still have an old Schecter. I haven't played in years though...

As to the fish, noise travels through water well, so, it is probably stressful, but they may just be def by now :p

yeah sound does travel through water alot better. i wouldnt think it would necessarily have any long term negative effects on them though. maybe if you played full blast and pointed your amp straight at the tank.
