I have a 5 and 3 yr old that really enjoy the tank more then I thought they would. My daughter always tries to explain the fish to her friends and it is funny to hear her pronounce things. Here they are having fun before I added water to my bundle of joy......or should I say bundle of $$$$$$ ;)

Yeah bundle of $$$. I don't think there is anybody who tried their hand at this ever regretted it. Failures maybe, but no regrets....Atleast I think so.

    Cute pic!

I love tanks and Im 14 and I had my first bigger (55gallon) tank when I was 12. All my friends make fun of me but I don't care. I actually cry ever single time when one of my fish die. I don't know if its just Im weird or I like my fish that much I don't know. But I guess some people like tanks, some just don't care its what ever your into.

My kids love the tank. They notice every little thing that was either added or changed. My daughter helps out with the top-off and my son is my tank sitter whenever I go away on business trips.

The best part of this is the look on their face as they gaze into the tank almost in a hypnotized state.

It's a truly great education for them. Teaches them appreciation and respect for life.

    Cheers!

Just so long as they don't think of feeding the fish Cheatos, I think I can get by with them being reef safe...

Heck that is all they wanted to do was play in the tank for the next couple of weeks.
