    the way to tell with Zoanthids is to try and count them
    if there are more on that plug then you had when you bought them
    they are growing

    Also, oftentimes coral will move off the frag plugs and onto your rock. So that might be why they look like they are falling to you...

    are they always in that state of openness? if so, I would say they are not thriving.

    Can you get a better maro picture of the zoanthids please. Maybe move them closer to the front for the shot. They look a little peaked to me. The ones that are open are not really open enough and you have a fair number that are closed. Could just be when the shot was taken, but if they look like that all the time I would investagate further.

    agree with Corailline, they don't look fully open, usually a sign of something awry.

    give us more info, like what type of lighting you are using, where they are placed in the tank, tank params, do you have other corals that are doing well, etc
