are my lites good?

    i have 2 metal halight 250w,2 t5's,2 actenic allso are my moon lights. can i grow anything i want with the lites i got ?

    yes you can grow anything with the current lighting

    Actually may be too strong for some corals, especially softies(mushrooms, xenias, etc), in a tank that size...

    i have pulesing xenia and it pulses all day and it is spreading i thin my liteing is just right

    I don't think its too much light i think almost any normal softie coral can acclimate to bright light like that

    that's good to hear, I know my xenia is out of control, LOL...Looks like a wheat field...The point about lighting being too much is that the stronger the light the greater the rate of Zooxanthellae growth which may cause saturation and thus cause the amoount of Zooxanthellae would have a negative impact on the coral in question. One must remember that some corals live at deeper depths as well in caves and crevices on a reef...8)

    Jeez, that is a lot of light. A lot better (and certainly more) than my setup. I am jealous. Just be careful acclimating corals from the LFS. They are not under lights of that ilk I am sure, and you do not want to burn them upon introduction to your tank. Usually, you are aiming for about 5W per gallon give or take. You have about 10W per gallon. That kind of set up, just to give you an idea, would handle my 90g with NO problems at all.
